Hunter Lake Trail
Hunter Lake Trail (often referred to as Hunter Lake Road) is an old forest‑service/jeep trail climbing from Reno’s west side into the Carson Range within Humboldt‑Toiyabe National Forest. The Hunter Lake Trail in Reno, is a popular hiking, biking and off-road vehicle trail located in the Peavine Mountain area. Know for its scenic views of the City and surrounding landscapes. It offers moderate difficulty with loose gravel and rocky terrain. The trail is accessible year-round, but is best enjoyed in cooler weather. Some local consider it a great spot for outdoor recreation away from urban development. Adopted by the Hills Angels 4x4 Club to maintain the trail with maintenance and upkeep.
